3 Days Bumdra Trek
In the Bumdra Trek, you will get to visit the Bumdra Monastery which offers beautiful view of the Himalayan Mountain Range. Near the monastery, you will get to see a holy cave where it is believed to have 100,000 footprints of celestial Goddess and fairies. Hence, this trek is also called the “Trek of Thousand Dakinis (celestial female beings.)”. In the descent from our camp, you will visit a number of temples including a hill top nunnery. 10 Days Druk Path Trek
Druk Path Trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan. It is a short and scenic trek with great views of beautiful lakes. It is also a classic walk along high ridges and ruined forts which guarded Bhutan from the Tibetan invasion. Part of the route follows the original mule track that linked Bhutan to the Indian boarder. This area is also famous for its spectacular and beautiful blooms of rhododendrons in spring. This trek is only approved for trekking in 2010 and only a handful of foreign visitors were allowed to tour this remote highland region. Unlike anywhere else in the country, it offers a visitor a unique semi-nomadic lifestyle, culture and scenic pastoral valleys in the protected area of Sakteng Wildlife Sanctuary in Trashigang in Eastern Bhutan.
