Electricity
The electrical sockets (outlets) in Bhutan usually supply electricity between 220 and 240 volts AC. If you're plugging in an appliance that was built for 220-240 volt electrical input, or an appliance that is compatible with multiple voltages, then an adapter is all you need.
If not, you are advised to bring a voltage converter adapter for your appliances.
Below are the 3 different types of electrical sockets found in Bhutan. The sockets might be different from place to place. It is still advisable to bring an adapter with you.
